Alexia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UNC Pembroke and a Master’s degree in Counselor Education from East Carolina University, specializing in School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Currently serving as a Professional School Counselor at Benson Middle School within Johnston County Public Schools, Alexia provides Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to students across the K-12 spectrum. Her dedication to serving others is evident in her commitment to making a difference in as many lives as possible, exemplified by her recent recognition with the Leading with the Heart Award in 2023 for going above and beyond her regular duties. Alexia’s educational journey reflects her passion for psychology and counseling, and she strives to continue to make meaningful contributions to the well-being of students everywhere. Alexia is thrilled to offer social skills coaching to students K-12.
